    223 wssm

I still load for the 223 WSSM in the winchester 70. 40 grain BT's at 4200 fps and partitions at 3600 fps. Use H4895 with excellent results and good case load density.

    I almost bought a 223 WSSM years ago. I ended up not, because my 2 220 Swift’s, and 2 22-250AI’s do about the same thing. Then I thought about having a short action with a magnum bolt face, when it comes time to rebarrel, you are stuck with a WSSM caliber. 220swift #1 - 50gr 3975fps. 220swift #2 - 55gr 3900fps. 22-250AI #1 - 50gr 4100fps. 22-250AI #2- 55gr 3850fps.

Still a great round, wasn’t trying to knock it. The one I almost bought was a model 70 coyote. Beautiful rifle, blued action stainless medium heavy barrel, coffee laminate stock.
